Naida Hawkins

Naida, a dedicated registered nurse with 14 years of expertise in breastfeeding care, embarked on a transformative journey upon discovering the profound impact of prenatal hand expression. Motivated by this realization, she redirected her career focus to championing this life-changing practice among families and healthcare providers. Naida tends to her family farm alongside her husband and two children near Wilkie, Saskatchewan. She deeply appreciates her family's unwavering support in fulfilling her passion and mission. She has travelled the world sharing More Milk Sooner resources, research and insight with breastfeeding families and Health Care Practitioners and Providers.

Dr. Almereau Prollius

MBChB, MMED(O&G|SA), FCOG(SA), FRCSC

Dr. Prollius, an Obstetrician and Gynecologist based in Saskatoon, SK, is a passionate advocate for utilizing prenatal hand expression as a vital tool in aiding families to initiate and sustain breastfeeding with greater ease.

He passionately emphasizes, "Since integrating Prenatal Hand Expression into my practice, it has become the highlight of my day. It equips our patients with the essential skills for successful breastfeeding and alleviates a significant stressor during the immediate postpartum period."

Dr. Prollius is deeply committed to empowering fellow healthcare providers to incorporate Prenatal Hand Expression into their care practices, recognizing its immense value in improving breastfeeding outcomes.

Dr. Yen, an esteemed OBGYN based in North Battleford, Saskatchewan, is driven by a fervent commitment to empowering women with both knowledge and tools to make informed decisions about their health journey.

Her passion for antenatal hand expression stems from witnessing its profound impact on her patients. She notes that this technique not only instills confidence in new mothers regarding their ability to nourish their baby but also significantly enhances maternal milk production.

Hailing from Lloydminster and shaped by her medical education in Saskatoon and Vancouver, Dr. Yen has returned to her prairie roots with a wealth of experience and a deep dedication to serving her community.

Her selflessness shines through as she generously donates her time to this important cause. It is thanks to Marijane's tireless efforts that we are able to offer our kits at prices that are accessible to families across Canada, ensuring that no one is excluded from benefiting from this life-changing initiative.

Her commitment to excellence and passion for helping others are evident in every detail of her work. Marijane's craftsmanship not only ensures the quality of our kits but also reflects her deep compassion for the families who will ultimately benefit from them.
